Spleen Chakra: How I Feel About Myself
Color: ORANGE / Location: 2nd Chakra (Beneath the Navel) Related to our sexual and reproductive capacity.

Located halfway between the pubis and the navel, the Spleen Chakra is the center for our emotional nature and is our desire body.  This chakra is the seat of the subconscious in man and is closely associated with the Root Chakra.  Repressed negative emotions such as anger, guilt, shame, resentment and jealousy are stored in this chakra and released into the Root and expressed as hurtful negative behavior. It is the storage place for all experiences.  The Spleen Chakra will retain the memory of all major traumas from birth to the early twenties, particularly from the ages of eight to ten.  Past life traumas are stored here. It is responsible for the memory of diseases in the reproductive, digestive and elimination processes.  If the thought patterns stored in this chakra are faulty/negative, then health, behavior and emotional responses are affected.  Its endocrine function is connected with the liver, pancreas and spleen, and all of the glands that influence metabolism, digestion, the detoxification of poisons, immunity to disease and the balance of blood sugar.

Balance in the Spleen Chakra

When the Spleen Chakra is balanced we obtain a new and greater sense of who we are in the world. It flows to the the solar plexus, (below rib cage) into the vital/etheric body and within that body charges the nervous systems much like a battery is charged by a charger.
