Root Chakra: How I See Myself RED 1st Chakra: Kundalini Vital life force energy is stored in the Root Chakra, located at the base of the sacrum/spine. This energy flows upward to the Crown Chakra stimulating all the cells in every part of the body. The function of the Root Chakra is regeneration and creativity. This chakra is concerned with basic security, survival and existence. The purification and transformation of this chakra enhances all forms of creative activity, personal growth, healing, intuition and intelligence. A new and greater sense of Self emerges. If it does not function properly all of the cells are eventually affected. Spleen Chakra- How I Feel About Myself ORANGE 2nd Chakra: Spleen: beneath the navel, related to our sexual and reproductive capacity.Located halfway between the pubis and the navel, the Spleen Chakra is the center for our emotional nature and is our desire body. This chakra is the seat of the subconscious in man and is closely associated with the Root Chakra. Repressed negative emotions such as anger, guilt, shame, resentment and jealousy are stored in this chakra and released into the Root and expressed as hurtful negative behavior. It is the storage place for all experiences. The Spleen Chakra will retain the memory of all major traumas from birth to the early twenties, as are stored here. It is responsible for the memory of diseases in the reproductive, digestive and eliminative processes. If the thought patterns stored in this chakra are faulty/negative, then health, behavior and emotional responses are affected. Its endocrine function is connected with the liver, pancreas and spleen, and all of the glands that influence metabolism, digestion, the detoxifcation of poisons, immunity to disease and the balance of blood sugar.

The Solar Plexus Chakra is located at the base and center of the rib cage, just above the navel. The Solar Plexus Chakra is the power center and the seat of self-confidence. It is called the abdominal brain of the unaware man. Faulty concepts and thoughts of power and its misuse are held within this chakra. There is a strong tendency to manipulate and control others as well as situations and events. In a healthy Solar Plexus Chakra the power is re-directed. Manipulation is transformed to harmonious giving & receiving. Heart Chakra- How I Care About Myself GREEN 4th Chakra: Heart Chakra
Located in the center of the chest, the Heart Chakra is the center of unconditional love. It is the source of unconditional love, compassion, caring and intuition. When the Heart Chakra is cleansed and purified, man’s lower love nature, concerned entirely with the personal life, is superseded by a higher love nature capable of unconditional love. The power of love within the individual becomes the motivating intention and the Heart Chakra continues to become more powerful and luminous. The Heart Chakra is the opening of higher consciousness and the Higher Self. The Throat Chakra - How I Express Myself BLUE 5th Chakra: Throat: Tied to creativity and communication. The Throat Chakra is located at the top of the breastbone and is the center for the expression of creativity, love and abilities. It influences the thyroid gland, which affects the balance of the entire nervous system, metabolism, muscular control and body heat production. The Throat Chakra expresses all of the soul’s love and abilities. The purification of this chakra transforms an individual to be a more perfect channel for the receiving and giving of love and harmony in all the varied experiences of life. The Brow Chakra - How I Perceive Myself INDIGO 6th Chakra: Third Eye Pineal Gland often connected to the forehead. The Brow Chakra is the center of perception and vision. It is located in the middle of the forehead just above the space between the eyes. This chakra is not as cluttered as the lower chakras because, in most individuals, the powers of this chakra are dormant. In the unaware this chakra is used mainly for judgment of self and others. The pineal gland is located in this center. The cleansing and energization of this chakra integrates the left and right side of the brain, activates clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairsentience which are the functions of the inner senses. The individual is better able to perceive his or her relationship to the “Whole of Life”; Spiritual memories are awakened. Crown Chakra-How I Feel My Purpose PURPLE 7th Chakra: Connects you with message from higher realms.
The Crown Chakra is the center that is able to feel a kinship with all life, all dimensions and all forms of being. It is not necessary to cleanse this chakra. The pituitary and pineal glands are energized as the energy flows upward from the Brow Chakra. A deep sense of appreciation for the physical and spiritual worlds is experienced. New creations emerge from the ascended energy. The individual’s role as creator is felt.
